#66 - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by JK Rowling

Comments

I almost stopped reading HP after the first one, b/c while cute and fun, it really was a kids-style book. I gave this 2nd one a chance, and saw JKR incrementally increasing the complexity in plot and character, which I took as a great sign.

I agree with the pacing questions and think that Goblet of Fire was the best paced of the books.
[this is good]
I liked the comment you have made on Deathly Hallows :) I agree with it - the story really dragged on, for quite a while, without moving anywhere. I was thinking that I was the only Harry Potter fan who felt that way. It was nice to know that you feel the same way about Deathly Hallows.
