Ah, so that's what a blogging slump feels like
Like a few of my neighbors, I feel like I'm in a blogging slump. I don't really have anything new to report, nor can I think of witty little posts about trivial day-to-day stuff. Basically I've resorted to posting photos of John Krasinski, that tall, tall drink of water. So big and delicious. Hey John, call me.
*snaps back to reality*
Anyway, I don't really have anything to write about. I've spent quite a bit of my time cleaning my apartment, perusing craigslist for new (um, used) furniture for my new house, reading the Best of Craigslist, working a lot, researching how to strip wallpaper, learning what Stuff White People Like (such as grammar, making you feel bad for not going outside, and Arrested Development) wishing it was mid-to-late June so I could move into my new house, reading my book club book, trying not to be disturbed by my book club book, eating all those strawberries, trying to avoid the inevitable 100-degree temps later this week (got to love California!), and daydreaming about John Krasinski rescuing me from an evil dragon's lair. Seriously John, call me.
*snaps back to reality*
So that's about it, ladies and gents. Sorry I have nothing more for you. I'll dig down deep and maybe in a few days I'll come up with something for you all that's slightly more interesting than this. But I can't guarantee anything. Right now I'm going to go nurse this reality-snapping-induced whiplash.

On another note, I must be white, 'cause I like grammar and Arrested Development. Not sure about the other one. Maybe I'm only 2/3 white?
Was it you or your brother (who also seems to be in a blogging ebb -- perhaps the A-family is sync'd somehow...) who first posted SWPL?? That always makes me snicker. Me? I am SO whitey.

...102 in the valley on Saturday.....yuck! :(
I'm glad you agree! I will attempt to post more in the future. :)
This is the first I've heard of SWPL. My friend (who also works in publishing) sent me the #99 Grammar link. Soooo many of those apply to me!
The good ol' San Joaquin Valley. They say it's good for the grapes, but I KNOW it's not good for me :(whithering now).......
