Me: Your geography sucks. New Mexico!

Amy: And why are you going there?

Me: My friend Hillary has a friend who's getting married down there and I'd go with her to the wedding.

Amy: She's getting married in Mexico?

The Beloved lived in Santa Fe for 3+ years, so I got to spend lots of time there. It's a very cool place -- I'm sort of surprised we haven't gone back yet.

That almost sounds a lot like my wife, but being that she's from the Philippines, she's far more knowledgeable of American geography than we are.
