Tri-tip doesn't exist back East, you know.
Seriously? I don't remember that? Why? What do you all eat?!
We probably eat Tri-tip. We just call it something else. It was first made popular in Santa Barbara county, and is best known as such in the Central Valley. I am sure that chefs are cooking this out here now, but my local butcher would give me a blank stare if I asked for it.
Very interesting. It's one of my favorite ways to eat red meat. Mmmmm.
[this is exclamatory!] !!
i love all the exclamation points. they are making me laugh right now. i don't know what you sound like, but my brain made up a very excited voice for you when i read the list. hehe.
I'm fairly certain it's the same excited voice I was typing in, lol.

Cori, I've had lots of bad habits, including Diet Pepsi. In fact, I'm drinking a double tall Diet Pepsi, rocks, right now. But I've never spoken in a very excited voice from it. ;-)

Have you ever read John Irving's masterpiece, "A Prayer for Owen Meany?" Owen had something wrong with his vocal cords, thus meaning he always spoke in caps: "I DON'T THINK THE NEW MINISTER'S WIFE IS VERY HAPPY." It worked--I had a good feel for his voice by the end.

F. Scott Fitzgerald said that using exclamation points is like laughing at your own jokes. I say, you go on laughing, Cori!! ;-)
