So I took a lot of pictures ...
... of my new place, but I don't like any of them. I forgot that my camera is being very water spotty, and I think I'd rather take some pictures during the day. So ... you all have to wait another day or eleven to see some photos.
Okay, fine. You convinced me. Here is a sample photo. Pardon the somewhat "eh" quality.
But I am all moved in, finally. I have a few things that I need to take out of here, and I have a corner that I refuse to discuss (the deskless area), but other than that, I officially live here! I really love it so far, especially now that everything is put away. I love the color on the walls (which many would call "baby poo" but since I think it's great, I'm going to call it "ochre"). I have the TV cabinet at an odd angle, which I thought would drive me crazy, but instead really works in the room because I wrapped two bookcase around the back. The only thing I lost in the move was one shelf (the interior shelf of the visible bookcase), so I did some creative book/stuff stacking and I think it's not toooo obvious that the shelf is MIA.
In other news, my coworker Amy and I noted that tomorrow we can say that tomorrow is Thanksgiving, or as I like to call it, My Favorite Meal Of The Year.

The curtain covers a door that goes to the owners' part of the house. There's no knob so the door doesn't actually work, but a little sound comes through there so I'm going to put up some foam behind the curtain.
