Three Things
1. Finally found my camera cord. Woo! Here are some photos of my organized-by-color bookshelves. I have another bookshelf full of books in my bedroom that didn't get mixed in. Basically I forgot about that entire shelf. Oh well. Here's what I ended up with:
3. Growing up, my family used to eat this particular bread. It was English Muffin Bread. It wasn't English Muffins themselves, but bread that tasted like English Muffins but was shaped like a normal loaf of bread. It was even better with butter, sugar, and cinnamon. I mean, I loved this toast. My mom and I remember this bread like we ate it yesterday. My brother, on the other hand, has no memory of this bread. He thinks we're making it up.
Does anyone have any memory of this bread? I think it was by a brand called Northridge, although I can't find anything about it on the Internet. It's like it doesn't exist, like my brother thinks. But it DID exist, and I would appreciate it if someone out there in Vox Land could affirm that this delicious bread existed at one point.

I can get English Muffin bread at Wal-Mart. It comes in a blue & white bag and is delicious! I can't remember the brand name though. Master, maybe?
When you said earlier that you'd arranged your books by color I thought that maybe you had gone just a little kooky from all the home-buying stuff -- but I think it looks great -- I would have never thought of that in a gobzillion years. Bravo.
I've never heard of english-muffin bread, but now I want some...I'm going to keep and eye out for it for sure.
Your dad's photography is stunning. And I LOVE the way you did your books.
I've never heard of English Muffin bread before, sounds really good.
It did exist, I've eaten it with you in college!!!
Your brother is halucinating! BUT, given that he eats everything perhaps he has no memory of it because he never stopped long enough to notice the amazing bread he was swallowing whole OR you hid it from him so he wouldn't eat it.
either way, it's not a myth!
I knew it! I'm not sure if it's the same brand, but it sounds like the same thing. So delicious.
I should try it by Thomas's. I know it's not the kind that I had, but their regular English muffins are so tasty that I assume their English muffin bread is good as well.
Mmm...liquified butter.
Oh, I've gone kooky all right! Normally I'm a little too Type-A for something like this, but I thought that since I have to pack up everything anyway, that I might try something I've always wanted to try. And now I really do love it.
I FORGOT YOU ATE IT TOO.
Although, my brother would just say you're part of the conspiracy. Although, I like the theory that he eats so quickly that for years he's had no idea what he stuffs in his face since it goes from plate to stomach so fast.
your dad's photography is awesome! :)
and that english muffin bread sounds ridiculously awesome. i need some.
