I can't speak for her other book (which I have now added to my ever-growing list of Books to Read), but Case Histories is sort of a three-fold murder/disappearace mystery. There are three stories that sort of overlap and intertwine in interesting ways. There's a wonderfully flawed private investigator protagonist. And the characterization is amazing. The characters seems so real.

Okay, you've sold me. It sounds really great.
Note: I hate when I make mistakes in my posts: "characters seems"? C'mon Cori. Let's have some noun / verb agreement, okay?
